Moyu HuaMeng YS3M 3x3 UV Magnetic Core & Maglev

The YS3M is a very solid cube, in both feel and performance. It is very stable, without being particularly slow. It has weak-medium strength, non-adjustable magnets, and good but snappy corner cutting (it is also quite loud). The UV coating is more subtle than other UV coated cubes, but still improves grip and is durable.

Overall, while I don't think this is the best cube currently available, it is close - it has very good performance and is a very dependable and neutral cube that will suit any speedcuber.

The best 3x3 ive tried

Out of the box, the YS3M was extremely fast, dry, and sandy. After switching out the purple compression pieces for the blue ones from the RS3M, and setting it up with Gravitas, Silk and weight 3, the sandiness and dryness has gone away. It is still fast, so I often relube it with Gravitas or add weight 5 here and there. The cube has a very crispy, satisfying feeling to it too, especially when lubed. Whilst not necessary at all, the mod with the RS3M blue compression pieces was a good measure in setting up the YS3M, and in getting more useable tensions for my preferences

In comparison with Moyu's previous Super RS3M and RS3M 2020, I believe the YS3M to be overall a better cube; this said, it is up to personal preference on feel, and I still do love the feel of my RS3M super. It is less stable than the Super, and far less blocky, but still stable enough where I feel confident turning. From what I have heard, the Weilong V9 is a more flexible in comparison, but beyond that I cannot compare as I have not personally used one myself. For me, however, the YS3M is a good balance of stability and flexibility, and has a feel that I enjoy solving with.

Would recommend, especially for those who like crispy and stable cubes
