The YJ MGC3 II is a 3x3 by YJ, and the update to the YJ MGC3. A magnetic cube 8 grams lighter than its predecessor, the MGC3 II comes this time in stickerless, making it accessible for more people. It is inherently faster than the V1 and has really good forward corner cutting.

An amazing cube

This cube is really cheap for how good the quality is and I got a little too rough so I took out a piece but put it back together and this magnetic cube is a very good cube for skilled and beginners

Amazing

This cube is great for around $20, I tried this at a comp and immediately fell in love with it but I didn't have enough money at the time so I got it for Christmas and it is amazing it almost compares to the GAN XS my only complaints are that it can be a little unstable but that might just be my spring setting.

I want the GAN I Play

Was a little disappointed, but it's still ok

The MGC v2 is a toughy to review. There are a lot of weird qualities. I got this cube in stickerless. The tuning is very snappy and crunchy. It is much faster than the MGC v1, and cuts a bit more. My main problem with this is it has a weird catching problem. I'm pretty sure it is because the edges are sticking out on the sides. It makes it so I can't turn very fluently. Also, even though there are squared off corners, I still find myself twisting a corner ever 20 solves, and on other cubes, I almost never twist corners. The color scheme is pretty average. I think they could have opted to make the blue and red a little darker, but I think it's nothing to worry about. Overall, I would recommend the MGC v1 over the MGC v2

Good for price

Despite the negative feedback this cube got, I quite liked it. It was one of my first magnetic puzzles so I was not sure what to expect, but this cube was great. It was smooth and the magnets were noticeable. If you are looking to buy your first magnetic cube, this isn't the way to go, I know that, but, it is nice to try out.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A YJ CUBE - buy the MGC elite, it is a great cube (IMO)
