If you're expecting this to be like v1, it's not. In fact, it's very different not only from the v1, but also from any other Gan cube so far. The best way I can describe it is precise. The turning is so precise that I feel like it should have really lousy corner cutting, but it doesn't. It's a very strange feeling puzzle because that, but I really like it.
The only real negative I can give it is the new GES nuts. I really don't like that Gan seems to be moving over to these for most of their new puzzles (with the only exception being the XS and X v2). What really shocked me was seeing that the 356i and 356i Play both have this bad GES system, especially when those are two of Gans most expensive cubes. My main complaint about it is that it needs to have more than just two tension settings, and I've had both the 356i and 356i Play both explode on me because that lousy GES nut turned to the 0 setting on its own during a solve. Anyway, the new GES nut seems to work okay in the 354M v2, but again, I'd really like to have more tension setting options.
Overall, I really like it. It's not giving me my fastest times yet, but I still really enjoy solving on it so I keep grabbing it over all my other cubes.
