YJ Pocket Timer

Uses it on carpet with no problems. He reports it doesn’t work so well on surfaces that reflect light like our dining table but he doesn’t mind because he uses it mostly in his carpeted room.

The timer is amazing and really handy for travelling. You can use it basically anywhere except for dark places because it uses inferred other than that it is AMAZING

Very decent timer but has a couple things that holds it back. Because the timer uses infrared sensors to start and stop the timer, this give means you need to be in a reasonably lit area for the timer to work. The timer doesn't work on black surfaces and needs light that comes from above so that the senses can see your shadow. Apart from that, the timer is really good and very handy to walk around and transport

I love the concept of the timer and definitely see myself using it, but it is really annoying how the timer sometimes skips a second and it goes from 0.9 to 2.9 in 0.1 seconds. This really bothers me that it's not accurate but other then that if you think you have a use for it then buy it, if you don't see a place for it I won't recommend buying.
